 Components & Accessories Included:

  1. Bar Screen Chamber – Manual or mechanical coarse/fine screening
  2. Oil & Grease Trap – Removes floating oil, especially for kitchen/canteen wastewater
  3. Equalization Tank – Maintains consistent flow, equipped with air mixing
  4. MBBR Bioreactor – Aeration tank with bio media and diffusers
  5. Air Blowers – Twin lobe/centrifugal oil-free blowers
  6. Bio Media – Floating type (specific surface area > 500 m²/m³)
  7. Tube Settler / Secondary Clarifier – Solids-liquid separation
  8. Sludge Holding Tank – With submersible dewatering pump
  9. Tertiary Treatment Unit:
    • Pressure Sand Filter (PSF)
    • Activated Carbon Filter (ACF)

 Treatment Process Flow Description:

 Primary Treatment:

  • Screening Unit removes floating and large solids.
  • Oil & Grease Trap eliminates fats and oils.
  • Equalization Tank with air mixing handles flow/load variations.

 Secondary Treatment (MBBR Process):

  • Wastewater enters the MBBR aeration tank filled with floating bio-media.
  • Aerobic microorganisms form biofilm on the media and degrade organic pollutants (BOD/COD).
  • Blowers supply oxygen through fine bubble diffusers.

 Secondary Clarification:

  • Water flows into Tube Settler or Clarifier for separation of biological sludge.
  • Sludge is collected in a holding tank for periodic disposal.

 Tertiary Treatment:

  • Treated water passes through Pressure Sand Filter (PSF) and Activated Carbon Filter (ACF) to remove fine particles, color, odor, and residual organics.
  • Followed by chlorine dosing or UV disinfection for pathogen removal.

 Ultrafiltration (UF) – Advanced Polishing Stage:

  • UF membranes (0.01 micron) remove bacteria, viruses, turbidity, suspended solids, and any residual organic matter.
  • Final effluent is suitable for reuse in flushing, gardening, car washing, or discharge as per CPCB norms.
